Summer Camps & Workshops 2009
Texas Student Television is the student television station at The University of Texas. Counselors for the camps will consist of award winning Broadcast Journalism and Radio-Television-Film majors who work at TSTV.
Middle School Camp:
Session 1 - Production Camp: June 15-19th ; 9:00 am-1:00pm
Session 2 - Journalism Camp: July 13-17th ; 9:00am-1:00pm
Ages: incoming 6th, 7th, & 8th graders
Cost: $225/ person, per session
Extras included: Lunch, T-shirt
Lunches are a mix of hot and cold (ex. Sandwiches or pizza)
Highschool Workshop:
Session 1 - Production Workshop: June 22-26; 9:00am-4:00pm
Session 2 - Broadcast Journalism Workshop: July 20-24; 9:00am-4:00pm
Ages: incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th graders
Cost: $400/person per workshop
Extras included: Lunch, T-shirt

Journalism Camp/Workshop
Television: Learn all about TV news; how to write, shoot, and edit. Applicants will produce
a news show that will air on TSTV and Time Warner Cable Channel 16.
Radio: Produce a news and commentary radio program airing on KVRX 91.7FM
Production Camp/Workshop
Television: Learn how to produce an entertaiment program or a music video show.
Applicants will produce a show that will air on TSTV and Time Warner
Cable Channel 16.
Radio: Produce a music/entertainment show airing on KVRX 91.7FM.
