KVRX 91.7FM Radio
KVRX radio, which shares an FM signal with a community radio station,
broadcasts 12 hours daily with a signal that covers metropolitan Austin and
outlying communities. For the 12 hours daily when it isn't broadcasting FM,
the station is carried on Internet and dorm cable.
The station lives up to its motto "none of the hits, all of the time," giving new artists an opportunity to be heard. KVRX also offers news and public affairs programming in a mix sure to offer interest to students of all backgrounds. KVRX has some paid positions, as well as opportunities to learn management, marketing, fund raising and underwriting sales.
