The Daily Texan
The Daily Texan is probably the best known student medium in the century. It has won more national, regional and state awards than any other college newspaper in the nation. It is also the largest college publication, in terms of pages printed, circulation and budget.
It counts among its alumni the winners of 10 Pulitzer Prizes, and its graduates are among some of the finest photographers, writers, editors, advertising executives and public relations practitioners in the world. Students on the newspaper staff have opportunities to learn the business from advertising to news writing and editing to press and pre-press operations to circulation.
